Lord rings and way home are truly amazing and would play again. I don't think i would play this one again ever even if they pay me to do so. Nevertheless it had 2-3 top class battles worth mentioning

Managed to finish in 7/4/4 as i am intermediate player, but it was fun! It is very hard in beginning, you have to know what to do before you do it, otherwise you have to start all over again. Pretty much after you beat the last lurking Necro heroes in the underground, you may start farming as long as you want. No one will stop you. Just be careful when you defeat the first Orange hero, because you will be spammed by 4 more from the underground which you have to deal with it asap. After that, the map is pretty much yours :) Good luck!

7/4/4 is a very good result for an "intermediate&q uot; player :)
And I agree that this is the best map for HoMM 3 while Biobob's "Rise of the Sun King" isn't tested properly and finished by the author.

Author: Miro (Belgrade, Serbia), 07-09-2018 04:30 Great! But... - Xiedu "Xiedu" is the most difficult map I have ever played and I did use a walkthrough, otherwise it would be impossible. But even with a walkthrough it is painfull. The first 8 months you are basically chased all over the map from heroes that have 2 - 20 times your army strength and better stats and spells. So you have to use various 'tricks' that exploit the games' AI, terrain configuration and other inovative 'solutions' ;. Finished Month 9, Week 3 and Day 1 with few Azure Dragons and 7k sharshooters. I give the game 10/10 but I would not play it again as it feels like passing one of those hard math exams...

why 0? 1st 2 fights with Soc reveal that this is "luck has final word" map dispite author made some intelligent concept. not planning to reload countlessly and to win or loose with same tactic.

One of the best I've played.
Finished at 12-3-1.
Some battles have taken 1 hour (!) and more.
One more time I should admit: amazing!
Not for players who likes easy ways and fast decisions. Sometimes you will replay days and weeks to optimize game timing / moving.

This means nothing, you guys cheat for making such records. I am playing right now wayfarer and read your walkthrough, you reload 50 times until you get morale twice, or until enchanters cast slow and so on. You grab this way one week here, one week there but the result is in no way different than if I used a trainer and give twice army for that fight.

First you must prepare your trap
Dig the holes (for grail) at the shore next to the rampart, as well any hero with ship cant reach the earth. But its very important to leave one place (square) free. This square you will fill with ship later.
OK than you must cheat the hero to run after you... and you must go in the water. When you are in the water must back to the shore (you need one day lead) and get one ship from the ship-building – the ship will close the way for any in the water. But you can swim, because the ship is yours :)
OK later you get water-walk and you must fill this one-free square to finish the trap
I hope you understand the trick (in the short story) and Im waiting one virtual beer from you :)

First several months is very hard. But when cheat the strong heroes in the water all territory will be yours. After that long time traveling over the magic well. In 57m I get TP :)
