Once you break out though, there's .. well, too much sailing to get to the keymasters tents. This probably isn't a big problem played vs people, but vs AIs, they're not gonna break out and there's a LOT of wandering around to figure out how to progress. This part isn't so great.
And then you start breaking into their territory and by this point, youre so far ahead of the AI that it's just a long mop-up process.
VS AI this would probably be better as a 1v1. Vs humans, it might be fun? But it seems like the sailing portion would still slow things down too much.
Thanks for sharing the map, even if I don't personally love it.

Author: Jeff (St. Louis, USA), 15-02-2021 19:07 Like It was Fun - Pretoria Long map. At a point, you just roll over everyone else and it becomes a bit tedious. Finished in 326 days on Impossible playing Rampart. Could have been faster, but at a point I decided to only use one hero for pride's sake.
Some of the sea gates are misplaced and you can sail right around them.

There is no challenge, very easy after the first 3 months - no AI challenge at all after taking the lands. No monster challenge after first months and having big army and ressurrection.
Could think this would be great for multiplayer and rushing the 30+ level lands kind of "capture the flag"
I liked exploring the map until I had the island with all the key tents, then it was just to find the opponents and kill them easily... had not even met any opponent yet before getting all key tents :)

Its been 3 months for me and i've comletely cleaned my territory with the barbarians and am about to leave my island. Until this point the ai could not attack me as the only entrance to my land was a border guard with the only brown tent in my underground. The majority of my army and my resources ended up being quest rewards. There were also two piles of 1 mil gold. The thief guild has me as number one in army strength but i dont know by how much. I have exp town portal courtesy of a tome of earth magic. Long story short i just cant see how you were so fast.

Monsters are strong, cool artefacts (some high tier monsters are missplaced and blocking some paths, or dont protecting things i started as blue).
I rly liked the Map 7/10 with eye Spyes 9/10 (shipping was very annoying)
