Needs rebalancing - Dragon's Orb 2 - Heroes 3 map

Just in 2 months, The Cloak, DD & Fly.
And Isra as the cherry on top (50%+ Netro). GG.

Other than that, having 2 Teams only makes very limited room for heroes leveling.

100% agree with the point "It's always a pleasure to find a big map".

But it is definitely not "Difficulty : Impossible" - easy-peasy - every spell, including DD/Fly/WW/TP/Berserk are allowed, as well as all possible artifacts.

Please check the mistakes - at least 6 seer huts without quests, some objects are not accessible. . I understand that some may fill the landscape, but I would like to have confidence that the necessary objects will be accessible.

Testers needed - Master of the Sea (knight)
People don't see their own flaws, so they need others to achieve a quality product.

One flaw I noticed, is that the map is too big. - the hero walks and sails for days... to much, no point. My first map...

Any comment would be appreciated.

Master of the Sea - Walkthrough

I'm writing it now, after playing the game many times, and not seeing any bug lately.

Hide in Sanctuary, put gloves on, wait a day.

Go straight to the boat, get in it. end the day.

The sorcerer runs after you. Exit to a place he cannot reach.

Visit scholar to get Navigation skill. Visit School of Magic.

Collect 10 lumbers, build a boat, do as ocean bottle says - east, north, west, east.

east... in the east side buy war machines if you like, capture lighthouse, fight trees and get angel.

north... get into swamp, visit School of Magic, the seer there will give the Sentinel's Shield (+12 Defense, -3 Attack) for the Dragon Scale Shield (+3 Defense, +3 Attack), go back to ship, at top of swamp there is the Mystic Orb of Mana - a must have, or the game will be really lame.

Expose the ice island, visit scholar to get Armorer skill.

west... go to island with black knights guarding the entrance, your angel and genie can beat them easily.
Take Boots of Levitation, expose the map near the small ice island, use the boots and jump into the islands. Get into Monolith One Way Entrance, fight "Al Babel" (Ali Baba, and his 40 thieves), give seer boots for Sea Captain's Hat. Get Endless Sack of Gold, visit tent, open gate and... summon boat... if you fail, try again, that's life...


back east... go back to ice island, collect swordmen and get in. Take Spyglass. Visit Hut of the Magi and Pillar of Fire. Now you know where main villain is hiding - that is where you should go in the end. Make gorgon move away, or kill it, take sword, visit tent, back to ship.

You know where to go - the island with the red border guard - right in the middle. Bruno - evil brother of the previous scholar, wants to teach you Diplomacy, you can get back to him after you already have 8 Secondary skills, and then he's forced to teach you a Primary skill - Attack / Defense / Power / Knowledge. Get in.

Visit scholar to get Offense skill, visit other scholar to get Scouting skill, give Satan the sword, go in his boat and visit white tent.
Collect pit fiends and pit lords and enter Subterranean Gate, fight mosquitoes, summon boat.

Go to big desert island at north, There's a Hill Fort there, upgrade the swordmen and Pit Fiends.

Go to small island with white border guard, take Speculum, enter.

Visit scholar to get Tactics skill, visit stables, collect fire-friends and crusaders, Nothing to do with the birds there, it's a menagerie. After fighting Greater Basilisks, get down the cave, visit scholar to get Archery skill (you last secondary skill).

Why didn't I put Artillary? (-Ballista) Because the number of monsters later gets so great (both yours and the enemy's) that the Ballista does nothing.
Why not Ballistics? (-Catapult) Because the castles you need to conquer aren't all that tough.

Go to cave and get 'The Lamp' (Spirit of Oppression), now you can either fight the bone-dragons (no) or go all the way back and get into that small 'rough land' island (south to the ice-island) to get 150 genies for the lamp (yes), upgrade them at Hill Fort, and then go fight dragons.

Fight bone-dragons - get bone-shoes, swap them with Boots of Speed at the seer's hut next to where scholar taught you Archery.

Kill dragons, I suggest to put imprtant stacks at corners, so not too many dragons can attack them at once.
Visit tent, enter "Flying Stones" Monolith.

Press 'Space' until you get to a small island at the most south-east place of the map.

*Generally - if you're 'out of ammo', recruit imps*

Get to boat, go left-most, get 380 swordmen for death-sword.

Go back and 'up' (north), recruit arch magi, go fight minotaur.
Save lady, get vial, pendant and First Aid tent. Visit 'Dark Blue Keymaster's Tent'.

Back to monolith, go to chess board. fight skeletons to get ribs, collect your lost friends in front of the scholar, fight the 'pawns' in front of the death-knights, fight the death-knights to get death-shield. Recruit Naga Queens, give crown to seer, to get tunic. "There are no flowers in the ocean", search the ocean for where there Are flowers (next to the smallest island - entrance to 'Cave of Fire'), next to them flowers are Water Elementals, fight them to get Water-Orb, go back to 'Flying Stones' monolith to visit the magician, give him the Water-Orb to get 150 cavaliers.

Visit Hill Fort and upgrade some.

Conquer the town in the desert-island.

Enter Subterranean Gate to get the king's crown.

Get to "Flying Stones Monolith" and get to south-east corner with water again, enter boat and go north - a sea-monster awaits you, it's pretty strong but you're fine, give crown to get griffins.

Conquer the 'Tower' castle, buy spell book, recruit magi, after a visit to Pricess Hernia, you can recruit titans.

Get into whirlpool, press 'space', if you fall into the 'lava island' whirlpool, press 'space' to try again.

Enter 'Circle Monolith', recruit wolves and dogs if you like, save fire elemental in you want to get 'The Sword', the elemental will give you a Fire-Orb, give tunic for helmet.

Go to small rough land' island, open gate.

Give club for 25 wood.
recruit cavaliers, the stable can upgrade them to champions.
Fight garrison, swap death-shield for Dragon Scale Shield. (then later, get out to sea, go back to east swamp-shore, and swap Dragon Scale Shield for Sentinel's Shield).

Go to the cave with Séamus ('Sheimoos') the Shaman.

Pretty obvious what to do there, if you were a good man, you can have the sword as well.

Now you're supposed to have more than 25 wood and 30 ore, welcome to hell!

In the town 'Flame' that you conquered, build a fort, a citadel, and a Castle Gate (Town-Gate), now you have a way back from hell.

Go back to the Tower castle. Get into the whirlpool, if you know you visited the brown keymaster's tent, and built a Castle Gate in the town 'Flame' in the north, you should also now be carrying the Hellstorm Helmet. If you have all that, enter the monolith.

Go to seer - swap helmet for breastplate. Go outdoors, get into boat, north-east to fight the Yeti. use wings, there are 1000 Ancient behemoths there, so recruit imps if you want, good luck. Take Town Portal scroll, and back to Satan's cave we go. Cast the spell next to the Valhalla town, make sure you have your wings too. Now in Valhalla, use the wings to get the Other scroll - Dimension Door.
Get out of there with the Dimension Door spell, get to ice-island, use dimension door spell to get to the villain - do as Merlin say - don't forget to actually wear the shackles before battle - or the villain will flee with the armor.

Get Armor back to the Tower castle.

Conguatulations! You're a true hero.
You've gained the titans' trust, they'll get you home.
