The map reminds me the "Vastness without a cause" maps, that many HOMM5 mapmakers did in the past.
What should be done different if asked? More attention to details,and less empty spaces.

Single Player Map - Warlord Uprising
Warlord Uprising is a single player map. Try opening it in that category. The Fall of the Lich can be a team multiplayer map. A Tale of Fire and Ice can be used as a PvP multiplayer map.

Folder is ok - Warlord Uprising
On the right there is a button where you can choose the type of map. You should choose "all" or "scenario" to see that map. Hope this helps!

Game Crashes - Warlord Uprising
Not sure why the game crashes. I thought that presenting it in "cooked" format might help. Of course, when one is creating maps the Map Editor crashes very frequently, especially when trying to shape terrain with the height sculpture tool. Just a note from experience for any other fledgling map creators out there -- save your maps immediately before and immediately after using height sculpting. But don't save your maps at all until you have created all the portals you think you may need. Because once you save the map, portal connecting doesn't work.

Long story short -- I had created a hero in which to make dialogue and the Map Editor would not allow me to do the dialogue. I thought I had deleted that hero (named Raheem)as well as the dialogues from the Map Properties but apparently the Map Editor had crashed before that change was saved. All is good again and the game difficulty has been reduced from "Impossible&quo t; to "Hard." Added a dragon vein near Player 1's home base just for good measure. Sorry about the inconvenience everyone.

This is a technical issue that I have contacted ubisoft support about. I have a ticket # and will be sending them screenshots. I will do my best to get to the root of the issue. After defeating of at least 4 opponents I bought a hero with 50 champions and 100 elite creatures. I thought this is a nice joke but you wrote that is out of your control.
The way to player 8 is blocked, I assume that is the same problem asin your map "Fall of the Lich"

A comment on the AI. For some reason (not by my design) Player 7 or Player 8 gets a boost of about 50 champion creatures. Thus, the reasoning for the "Impossible&quo t; rating. This unexplained boost happened even when I played it in "Easy" mode. The other quirky thing about the AI is that AI heroes tend to not go through portals that are guarded by creatures at both the entrance and exit of the portals. This happens with gates to the underground and the round portals. So, the good news is that if it is Player 8 (rather than Player 7) that gets the boost, Player 8 is very likely not going to go through the portals until you open the way. Part of the challenge of creating these maps is that the AI so often behaves in strange ways.

Ok, I tried the new version of your map. After going through the first teleporter I was attacked by a barbarian with 50 Champions and 90 horse bowmen - no chance.
It is not fair that Kibwe cannot hire new heroes in his hometown and there are no possibilities to fill up mana in his home town area.

I would be curious as to if other games written after the 1.8 version of HOMM7 have the same problem, since I did not write in the 50 champion creature boost. Player 8 starts with 7 ancient behemoths but that is all. Sorry it is frustrating. I was able to complete it but that was with Player 8 being the one with the 50 extra champion creatures.

The Editor also has had fixes, improvements and implements, including;
Object Properties;
Capped Fog of War revealing radius properties to 300 to avoid crashes in the game.
Properties were only saved when the map was saved as well for Towns, Forts, Garrisons and Hero Armies.
Dragon Utopia/Elemental Forge Properties and Merchant Properties fixed crashes
Implemented an increased level cap from 30- 999 in Hero Properties and fixed a crash when assigning a hero to a creature army with an unset warfare unit.
A couple of fixes and implements to Town Properties
For Map Properties, fixed Custom player names not correctly displayed. If your map is affected, you need to open the Map Properties, click OK and then save the map.
The Editor crashes if the underground layer is destroyed on the auto-save pop-up.
Implemented, Increased level cap from 30 to 999.

"Impossible" ranking - Warlord Uprising
This game is like "The Gauntlet" except with no seals to hold back the enemies. Something odd happens with the AI, however, which is beyond my control. One of the opponents, usually Player 7 or Player 8, will get a boost of 50 champion creatures. Not sure why that happens but that is what warrants the "Impossible&quo t; ranking for this game. And thank you for your encouragement.
