Author: dredjustus (Dondingaong Australia), 18-07-2016 06:05 the minotaur and the hound dog - The Minotaur and The Hound Dog I loved the map and the concept behind it liked not being able to recruit other heroes as for magic I had magic to burn but only used 1 spell all the way thru (shadow image)by the way minotaur was trivial great experiment Graxstar.Looking forward to your next map
Author: MIB (Gomel), 16-07-2016 19:33 good job! - The Minotaur and The Hound Dog In my opinion too long movement between the cities when nothing happens and you can not hire additional heroes ...
Author: Dan (UK), 13-07-2016 23:17 nice! - The Minotaur and The Hound Dog very cool map, like the comment below this one is more for huge troops rather then magic,
the Minotaur itself was a little difficult to beat as i like to use magic especially prime, but eventually i won without many losses.
thanks mate! and welcome back...:)

You're welcome - The Minotaur and The Hound Dog
I am enjoying making the more challenging maps. I released the minotaur at the third switch. Earlier switches are for the more daring players.
Author: Alexander (Good old Germany), 12-07-2016 22:10 Very funny dialog testing - The Minotaur and The Hound Dog I assume this map is the revenge for big boss Bongo. Right, these dungeons should be punished for disturbing his holidays.
This map continues the tradition of these outstanding H5 maps like "Out of Mind" and "Jackdaw Jake".
Due to the fact that Drakon in this map is not overskilled in magic, it would be better to offer more possibilities to level up the non-magic skills.
In order to explore this map totally it took about 5 month to fight against the Minotaur. In this case the fight was very easy nearly without any losses.
This maps shows impressiv that you are able to fight against very huge armies without advanced magic.
Hope you will offer more maps.
Thank you very much!

Thanks for the great feedback. I was thinking of eventually doing a specialized map for each faction with the creature leveling. Dungeon and Barbarian done anyway.

different faction - The Minotaur and The Hound Dog
I think you made already necro, dungeon, and stronghold ("dark side"- my favorite),all of them are perfect!
i think it would be refreshing to try out other factions as well,
thanks!
Author: MIB (Gomel), 12-07-2016 13:57 Not my Race - The Minotaur and The Hound Dog I do not like to play for the Barbarians, and therefore can not estimate your map. I prefer to play with the advanced magic. And here it is not clear - there is a choice race, but it's still need to play for the Barbarians ((

Barbarians - The Minotaur and The Hound Dog
Yes, for the scenario to work as designed, you would need to play as Drakon, a barbarian. I made a scenario for dungeon (Big Boss Bongo) and one for all factions (Doppelganger), and eventually plan on making a separate scenario for each faction. Limitation to one faction is one of the compromises one has to make to use dialogue boxes, which is what I wanted to experiment with in this game.
