Three lords have built their castles near the ruins af an ancient city. Their goal was not only to claim the legendary treasures hidden in the ruins, but also to solve the mystery of the destruction of the city.

Author: Przemek (Kalisz, Poland), 07-11-2013 11:30 Good balance, challenge in PvM This one is very good. I really enjoyed idea of gradually increasing monsters difficulty and true balance. And indeed, Ancient Ruins keep treasures worth fighting for. Guards truly are formidable. I know there is no time limit, but you really have to get there asap, or you will be outnumbered very fast. All of potentially supporting artifacts or spells wont be accessible to you forever.
I guess this map could be good as multiplayer and to test out some of your strategies, however I have really no idea what other strategy than hypno/frenzy could you possibly use here. Let me give example: The ratio is roughly like you got 12 dragons while forcing to fight with 450 dark knights if you want to unblock road to your enemies...
Not sure, but this is probably impossible map to finish if all three competitors were orcs (no dark magic support)
Strong 8/10

Thank you
Thank you very much for your comment. Since the upload of this map I have tested it with my friend a few times, and the guards' strength seems to increase as intended. However, it seems I adjusted it to a specific gaming speed which I personaly represent - when I hit the Death Knights in the centre (playing orcs) my friend starts to explore the ruins (playing dwarves). Having 26 cyclops, I beated the knights with not much effort, though don't remember month/week/day details. Any tests and further comments would be appreciated :).
