The world was peaceful like it as been for a century untill storms and bad weather have ruined crops all over the land. The other factions are restless and decide they want what you have. Survive long enough to quell the rebellion.

Author: wasilix, 14-04-2019 17:29 Pretty fun map - Hota Stuck in the middle I enjoy defensive part quite a bit. Those seem to be some of the most difficult to balance due to extremely derpy AI.
There an issue I encountered, though:
In my game, assassins 7-9 never came out of the portal, despite that I never hired any troops until before 10th came about. (in order to not scare them away)
My understanding is that they split the artifacts needed to get past the guard into the portal, and thus never managed to get through.
It could probably be easily fixed by placing 2 guards instead with a single artifact required by each of them.
It didn't have significant effect on things, but as the defense part is my favorite, I feel like I missed a bit of fun :)
Overall: a very enjoyable map!

I have attacked them in month 5 week 1... because I moved around a lot. I don't check the maps in the editor before playing. I think I would've went for them in month 4 week 1. I have 90 dendroids, 25 phoenixes, 25 cyclops kings, 21 enchanters and 7 titans. I think I lost some dendroid on the way, but it doesn't matter. The terain allows you to protect all of your range units + your peasant (4 units) with just phoenixes and dendroid. in the fight i lost one bird and around 22 dendroids.

You have to wait till 4-5 month for wizards to build you something which will allow you to move out the middle.
