You wake up dead, That's a great start to the day. Once king of the rangers and now just another dead guy. That's about to change its time to take back your place with the rangers dead or not it dont matter to you.

once you conquered the underworld and beat the top 2-3 heroes above ground, there isn't any more challenge left. even beating the first few overworld heroes is just about not letting them escape.
after that, the balance is tipped too much for the computer to have a chance. no quests, no challenging battles...
I don't really understand the reason Gelu is the main hero. once I've got the cloak, there's no point in collecting sharpshooters. I don't use the gold dragons either. armor of the damned + cloak of the undead king + orb of vulnerability + ring of the wayfarer + bow of the sharpshooter with a couple of azures and an exponentially growing number of liches gets unstoppable very quickly.
I played until I got to the anti-magic gate in the north-west, thought there might be some interesting stuff behind that, but the most interesting thing is that I had so much money that it turned negative lol. don't need it anyway, liches are free.

It was the easy run wished by me. Going to the upper side of this world at 4.1.5 I saw Crag Hack on an island nearby. I managed, that he didn't flee and so now Gelu could continue with 52K Liches, 3078 Sharps, 995 Goldies and two Azzis. Up to here no problems. But few days later, when Gelu wanted to fetch Sea Captains Hat and these Ocean Fishes, Lady Annie Bonny had some anymosities against Gelu. After some losses too heavy Gelu found a good way to victory. Now with 76 K Liches the map was mine! Assasin flew, Satan flew 5.1.4. For fun I ordered Ryland to sample some Joiners around the last 5 fortresses but then I left the game. Mephala/Assasin was not willing to leave her home. The mapmaker should install a light blue tent reachable at 81,54,0. In this version I must vote minus!

But Gelu will enter the Upworld now with more than 40.000 Liches, 1000 Goldies, 2 Azzis and 3.000 Sharps day 3.4.3.

Tan gets killed by azure in the first version i uploaded but i sent in a fix which should be uploaded to the site by now so you may have to dload the newer version so sorry for that.

For some weird reason the tan player that opens the border died on the azure but i just fixed it and sent in the fixed map. The reason you found the map easy was because tan didnt release the other heroes.
With the fix he will and the map will be much harder. Fix should be added by tomorrow so sorry for that folks.

Ya the map is meant to be pretty tough you can get basic cure from the castle town but not mass cure. But then i am sure the ai would complain if he couldn't upgrade his archers to sharpshooters and undead to litches :). It's meant to be a challenge for you i have faith you will do well the force is strong with you.

Finished it last night, month 6 for a 492. There were some pretty tough fights when I first got above ground. One I had to win on a boat, one defending a castle. Pretty fun to figure them out. Once I beat a couple of the big boys and had like 40k lichs, I breezed through the rest.
Hardest fight was Assassin. He ran away from me the first time around, and when I opened the gate he had a pretty crazy army, expert water, and 99 stats in like month 4.
Fun map though. Pretty hard if you try to move fast. Mutare is really important. Probably would have finished sooner had I made it to her faster. As it was, I was within one turn of losing her to tan.
FYI - On impossible, all hero's made it out of their areas and into the world. Sometimes AI can be stupid if you don't play on impossible though, so that may be why the other player had that problem.
