Took til month 8 but 3-4 months of that was trying to find the end, I'm old and bad at finding the right portals/tents to get everywhere, fights were pretty easy just used some AA's and clone/berserk to win all the fights.

For future players:
I like taking my time to explore and accumulate armies, and this map allows for gameplay at whatever pace you'd like very nicely.
Some heads up:
- You are expected to build up the main heroine of the quest, as crucial parts are only accessible by her, so don't neglect her.
- Diplomacy is disabled on the map, so no point in picking this skill.
Small strategy advice (mild spoiler):

Town Portal/Fly/DD all disabled throughout the game (no scrolls/scholars either) - so movement skills/artifacts are very important.
