Thanks to Whirlpools, you never know who attacks you next. I had to slow down and focus on defenses for a while before pushing to the enemy's gates.

Author: Roboto (United States), 11-05-2020 00:51 Like Interesting Map - Hectic Waters This map is as per it's namesake, rather hectic, with multiple avenues of approach to each castle. Your strongholds are never too safe and having your main heroes venture too far out can be costly.
I do recommend modifying the map and removing the usual: Town Portal, Dimension Door, Fly, Water Walk. Acquiring any one of these spells basically puts you in the endgame immediately and removes the challenge of balancing offense and defense.
Played on Green at Expert difficulty, did not encounter any hassle. I imagine it's possible to beat on Impossible, given the starting resources scattered near your town.
