In short - you are given all towns (except forge) at the beginning, and you can decide for your own what you do with them. The world is littered with dwellings which help you orientiate.
I had a ton of fun exerting control on this vast map with my usual 7 hero setup running around doing stuff. Since this map is awesome for it, I quickly realized I could use demon farming to great effect which made it even more fun.
As a reference for how massive numbers you can get on this map, here is my 443 demon/devil stack.
You can play this map as you want, but if you need help here is a short walkthrough:
- Build up stronghold to castle and behes on the first week and try taking gold mines with them
- Farm the surface as much as you can, prioritize level7 dwellings (mainly behe crags if you have them)
- Build your tower to titans and castle to angels ASAP
- Make sure your heroes have wisdom, logs, earth, and with some hero dash for the centre for TP and resurrection
- Make a scholar and have him teach all your boys the great spells
- Once you get rich enough you can farm utopias and the treasure area underground
- To defeat everyone, you can take the angel wings underground (pretty expensive) or tediously use the centre one-way to gain access to keymasters one by one
Overall great map, will definitely play more in the future!
