A hundred of years ago two kingdoms on the banks of Azave river used to be rule as one. After the civil war the kingdom has been divided and the islands on the river got infested by the pirates who took advantage of the turmoil.
After you ascended to the throne of half of Azave your dream is to reunite the kingdom once again. However, it will not be an easy task since both sides of the river are heavily fortified and impossible to penetrate without spells like Dimension Door or Town Portal which have been lost long time ago.
There is some hope on the horizon though. On his deathbed, your father told you that if you manage to bring your family shield to his old ally living on other side of the river you will be able to bypass fortifications and defeat the northern kingdom and pirates alike.
Be careful though! The road to the other side goes through the labyrinth of dark tunnels patrolled by dragon lords Arlach, Dace and Shakti whose power cannot be matched by any of those who live on the surface.
Find a way to avoid the armies of dragon lords, exterminate the vermin pirates and reunite the kingdom. Then gather an army big enough to defeat a dragon queen Mutare who is the source of all evil in the Azave Kingdom. The future of your people is in your hands, don’t let them down.

Author: Sasha (Russia), 30-12-2023 23:15 Challenging and refreshing - Azave Kingdom I really enjoyed this map. It was hard but rewarding. You need to constantly defend yourself from pirates attacks while pushing through the underground to reach enemies castles. More maps like this please!
Author: Yotam Olenik (Israel), 03-02-2023 00:42 Like good map - Azave Kingdom the map design is really cool. i did find a bug where i could land and attack the pirates through a crack in the stone terrain(right next to the green tent, 5 squares left 1 square down) but other than that great and challenging map! i actually thought the pirates might defeat me for a second.
the final battle seems redundant to me though. its just a really long grind until you get enough creatures

Hi Yotam. I updated the map by sealing the crack you mentioned and adding a time limit. So now the only way to win the final battle is by playing it smart without a big army. Regards!

The key is to defend your base from the pirates and reach to the other player on the opposite side of the river simultaneously. I liked the idea of playing cat & mouse with the orange computer player.
I guess the map gets even better when playing with another human player.
