Surely you have read Daniel Defoe's "Robinson Crusoe"!?
The quintessence of this map: You should open the right doors for your opponents making them to "Robinsons". And if anbybody of them is able to get boats, make the best of it. And, surely, you have to seek and to free Robinson!

It's tough but not insane, requires planning but not to a microscopic level, and the big fights never become monotonous. The early-mid game involves lots of digging holes to protect your islands and sneaking around trying to build up stats/exp/artifacts. Don't forget to attack every single imp - very important!!
Unfortunately I perhaps took a little too long and so I couldn't pass the quest guards to rescue Robinson - the first required defeating a hero who had already been killed by someone else. A shame to be derailed so near the end, but highly enjoyable nonetheless.

Great map layout and ideas! Just because I am rubbish I will rate it highly :L
