I'm not sure I understand your question but the original map is not from HotA but from the HoMM3 game.
The original game without mod.
I simply re-edited this map with the HotA map editor, adding a lot of objects that didn't exist in the original game.
As this map has a lot of sea, I changed an existing city to a pirate city. And I added a lot of objects and treasures in the sea, but also on land.
And I changed the victory condition, now you have to gather Rust Dragons to win and no more Black Dragons.
Finally in any case, open the map of the original game with the editor then open mine, you will see the differences ...
