In this barren archipelago, the only way to obtain necessary resources is to venture into the mysterious, monster-filled subterranean jungle. Apparently, you're not the only warlord interested in the riches below.
A simple 3 player map where you have to go underground and risk random monster attacks in order to get resources. Direct connections between each player's territories exist, but are blocked by strong monsters that prevent opponents from rushing you early.
Author: Roboto (United States), 23-08-2021 20:47 Like AI Not Too Smart - Topsy-Turvy Agree with the other reviewer, Green starting position has a poorly placed ship. Easy to work around with Summon Boat but still worth fixing if you're going to play this map.
The AI won't be able to play effectively given the map design, since its resource scarce and requires picking up weekly resource caches and using the warlock lab to transform. Do not recommend playing on Impossible either due to this scarcity.
The map does have Town Portal and Fly and once I got those it was game over for the AI which wasn't able to threaten any of my towns by that point.
Overall an interesting map but be aware of those deficiencies.
Author: Lord Owl (Moravia), 21-08-2021 18:12 summon boat - Topsy-Turvy The starting Hero on the left island needs "summon boat" spell, if he will goes across the sea. The ship is placed bad nearby.
