First time I was just a bit too slow.
Second time I took out tower (had necklace of negativity so solymr isn't bad) but had almost no army left. A hero w/ 60+ devils and 40+ arch devils showed up when I had like 9 giants... he also had Dragon armor so no spells 4th or below on him. Sooo tough.
Spent about a month in game taking cities and dodging him, taking cities back after he took them with scouts etc.
In that time I killed every other main hero with berserk/blind etc. usual tricks.
I was able to beat him finally with rez/earth elementals, had to wait for my stats to be higher than his and I had about 35 AA's and 8 Azure. I got lucky in the fight because he got down to 1 arch devil and I could rez etc. while he was just hittimg me/ (he used all his mana to summon earth elemantals once my army was dead and all I had was earth elenmentals so he stopped casting armageddon, ended fight with no losses and 14 mana left.
After that fight it was just cleaning up the map for a few game weeks.

Forgot to mention Played on HOTA no problems with daily autosaves never went into map editor and beat on month 4 week 1 day 5 (which is day 89)

I could move to the necro area and upgrade them.
In the firs week i got the horn of the abyss.
Impossible difficulty, really.

Maybe bad map name - Shanghai Bund Rise of Minhang
I saw this exact issue in other maps 1 or 2 times, and it was because of an extra space in the end of the map name or something like that. Just open the map in the editor, open map properties and remove any trailing spaces from the name. If there are none and/or it doesn't help, consider renaming the map to something generic (maybe it has some symbols that your OS doesn't recognize, and it causes issues). Save the map and restart it.

Hi, any idea why I cannot press properties in map editor? I have zero to no experience on map editor.

If you need to edit map name, do:
1. Click "Tools" in the top bar menu
2. Click "Map specifications"
3. Edit "Map name" below
Save the map. Done.
