HD+ problem - Lord Rings
This map is not playable with HD+ option turned on. It changes battlefields, stacks of neutrals, some original bugs/features. Turn HD+ off and in first pit fiends fight you will have 1 pit lord that can raise 1 additional demon. You can also play such type of maps with very useful SoD_SP plugin.

Yes, this one is a very tricky map but damn fun too. The battle riddles are of the top class. It's hard in case of both fast and slow clearing of the map.

Fight are fantastic and map is not driving you crazy because of it size.

after the field is 60% full with quicksand start casting land mine and move your dragon in a safety place,dont forget to take a balista and a first aid for making move in more directions.After 15 rounds the damage become great.Fun but longer and need time.With implosion i am out of mana points.

Just use firewall
Might need 10 dragons, 1 arch magi, using Sorchery hero, make sure your damage is around 375 (7 a time, 15 when they going trough 2 square). Make sure you got that spirit of oppression.
In the end you should be able to resurrect arch magi.

The ideea in not to run from the enemy, but to defeted before he can learn other spells than he already knows. Still, i had to do some hit and run with malekit, after conquering a tavern, with orrin+encheanters. Most difficult battle - Tazar!

I am in month 7 and i defeat theodorus easy with very few lose and moandor is stucked with boat in a small lake near faerie ring(i blocked him with summon boat).The path is blocked by gunnar and right now is to strong for me.Next step is ignatius for his orb of inhibition and see what is after quest guard.

On the easiest difficulty my army is strong enugh to beat her and start the hit & run part vs red and tan. But on expert difficulty it looks impossible: I get castle and stables in the first week and her army always wins the siege. If I escape and capture the north east mines with archers and zealots, Neela camps in the town until I lose -.-
Do you have any tips for this part?

Now he has no town left and I decided to attack him, he is easy to beat, and...he has armageddon blade, which I exchanged for a stupid quest gate, after jeditte. Game Over. I have a earlier save but have to do again Thorgrim and Jeddite fights, long.
You know, maps where you have constantly to look in editor to see what AI has, or game is lost. Weird.

1, Styg cannot be a real boss, her massive armies are bound to be paper tigers
2, she is stand still in a lucid pool
3, her magic and might is much stronger than you, but defense skill is very low
so we can come to a conclusion: we cannot defeat her normally either by fight or spell and the way she stands in the certain place must have something secret
and only shooters are suitable, you're right

My army right now: 27 archangels, 12 behemots, 700 harpy hags, 32 black dragons, 40 champions, 200 griffins and 60 manticores.
Author: Sasha (Serbia), 26-05-2012 09:13 @Valery Nobody blocked my way but as far as I remember when I opened this gate there were 3 heroes: Inferno, hero with legions of meduzas and naga queens and necro. I beated, without problem necro and passed another 2. Maybe you are too fast, I don'w know but I did not have any problem with necro.
