Heroes 3.: Horn of the Abyss

Always the same continent, but 1000 years later ...
On the surface, the Kingdom of Magicians has disappeared, and the melting snow has upset the balance of all the kingdoms and the Pirates are there.
Depth, elimination of Demon Lords left the way open to underground races...

good map only too good for AI capacities they couldnt take a sinle castle!

Very polished, recommended - Supreme Domination Sequel
A really nice map to play with huge space to explore. Difficulty is medium.

It's possible to make most combo artifacts.

One thing i found confusing is inablity to recruit all hero classes. Playing as green player (Rampart) I was unable to recruit Interno, Necropolis or Dungeon Heroes.
I actgually run out of heroes to recuit at the end of the game, looking for a couply of my favourites :(

I know it's strange, but I deliberately limited recruiting because I wanted there to be consistency in the alignment of the different kingdoms.
The "good" realms can not recruit "bad" heroes etc ...

I understand your reasoning behind good/bad realms, this makes sense. Guess I have to replay it from the other side :)

One thing to improve would be more ability to fine tune your heroes - if there were a bit more universities and witch huts it would be easier to make that perfect built for hero.

I love playing longer games, where I can customise my hero to my liking - by picking skills without beeing fully dependent on RNG from leveling.

It's just a minor thing I'd love to see.
