you should have almost no losses in all your fights..from what you wrote it sound like you already had some..
you dont need to fight dark demon immediatelly.. there is a secret path behind one of the windmills. there is a lot to explore behind that

I have already found the cloak, but it seems I should pay more attention to the messages that are put in front of me --> Dracon is mentioned + Recanter's cloak is also + favourable winds lead to the armageddon demoniac = you should go there bro xD

Heroes 3.: Horn of the Abyss

The eight players or IAs begin under ground with only one hero and no castle. The road to the surface, where is the castle, is ornated with mines, ressources and rewards. Once out of your cave, you got a big world to explore, step by step, island by island, but also on the sea. You can win the scenario by defeating other players or by caplturing chromatica, an underground random graal city, guarded by legions of elementals. Telling more would spoiler and could ruin the pleasure to discover the map.

In my first game, 2 or 3 AI players didn't manage to capture city in the first 7 days.... Seems this one is a PvP map, which is little silly.
