Yes, this is normal, This is the hardest battle one the map, i cant beat this without lose a lot of my units. I skiped more round to stack a lot of behemoths (7000+), hydras, titans, viverns, fenixes. You can lose loose your army beacuse on the last fight you need only elves and several devils.

LOL, mee too, skipped to 15th month to get more Behemoths then attacked him with 8k4 Behemoths and 6 stacks of 5 phoenixes
Then just teleport Behomoths next to Enchanter on first turn, after that, just buff as much as i can for Behomoths's survival
The top spot is very good so you will just attacked by one enemy stack only.
I just wonder how he has immune on Berserk and Blind?

Have you seen any match with 10k rounds? If you don't understand, let me tell you that the muderer general has been remade by the author, making the muderer and muderer heroes strong buffs. He plays sparingly with spells. He uses few spells. I have to play the SOD version to beat him, but if you play the hota version, it's impossible.

Castle army double, ur secendary skill have been changed, DM army changed and had pendant of courage( immnue mind spell),... U should try ver 2 for more chanllenge.

Recruit heroes in tavern ( mine used Brisa for hatse specialist) with air, tatic resistance( or used resistance artifact), bring pheonix+2-3 dragonflies, wear all combat speed artifact, With resistance Pheonix would not be slowed cast hatse and then dragon flies attack the dragon and let them burn each others ( in my case rust dragon+ manticore was completely wiped out). Skip this step if u found its unecessarry, jsut to make battle easier and save time from reload
2. Bring the flollowing line up: AA, BEhe, silver pegasus, 2 stack Pheonixed, Enchanter, magi.Bring spirit of opreation, Hour glass of evil honor, elixir of life, boots of polarities. The left choose what ever u want, u can consider speed artifact or magic resistance artifact( i used speed)
Turn 1: 1 Pheonix dodge slow, attack the enchanter, rebirth and azure dragon will attack it. Dragon MAster ( DM) cast prayer ( if he cast clone on enchanter, reset), Enchanter 1 shot AA , the rest w8. Your turn: teleport behemothto to kill Enchanter, the rest defend.
Turn 2: DM's shooter is dead, his minion will be pushing out. IF DM cast teleport on minotaur king ,reset. His azure will combat with ur Behe and the rest will take care ur minion ( make sure he kill ur capatult, if not reset). Pheonix rebirth will make sure at least 1 survive. CAst dispell if ur Behe kill The azure dragon himself or using the clone Behe to kill the dragon and move Behe to azure coprse to prevent Sacrifice spell. Next turn pheonix move to the gate to prevent minotaur enter. Cast shield or bless or disspell for Behe to combat with black dragon, If he teleport Minotaur again, reset. Now only minotaur and Behe left seperate by castle wall, he ll be spamming blind like a machine or do nothing until u do something first. If he cast blind endlessly then ez, just w8 his spell point running out and then use AA to resurrect everything. If he do nothing, then buff behe speed and w8 ( make sure behespeed>minotau r) and resurrect AA, next turn move AA into castle and w8. He will cast many buffable spell, just disspell every 3-4 turn until his spell poiunt running out, do not resurrect anything or he will teleport the minotaur inside.

DM has Badge of Courage so no blind, he also have 4 + speed artifacts and azuredragons so force field Behe wont work, he alwayls attack first. Behe 1 shot enchanter so no way we can leave this enchanter alive to revive our troop. Hate to see so many troops

The last battle was easier than DragonMaster. Also people you MUST finish this map before month 16, because at month 16 someone else gets red orb, there is green town underground where hero is hiding and will take the red orb at exactly month 16. I finished at 14 3 7. Just went through to read some more about map. Special Thanks to the map creator for making this nice map

I can't read the non english posts but I have had an issue with the original unleashing the bloodthirsty where, if one of the AI opponents gets summon boat, they can summon away the boat. Should probably put a boathouse in place of the boat.

You can use Era 2 / safe sod mod + HD, + all the Era interface mods, its safe.
It depends of what you seek, also Rose Kavalier wrote several of plugins for SoD only, some doing same fixes as era mods, others fixing additional bugs.

You get summon boat after taking Castle in the sea (the shrine is hidden behind the border guard). The hat is reachable only using fly/dd and it's hidden by volcanoes right before the orange player home area.

I spoke withm him araound 2005 and he sent me the harder version of this map. I think this is the same.
He made another v2 version of Bloodthirsty too.. but i didn't find another map from him:/ He has a great talent to making briliant map and he has a place in Heroes 3 hall of fame:) If anybody has another maps from him, pls send to me:)) or we have a hope that Valery make an ERA version with his extraordinary talent:) Never give up guys:))

Now his army is a lot stronger, he has armor of the damned and you can't blind/berserk anything...

Well, vs 4000 black dragons is not the hydras, but mighty gorgons who will make the difference. Just keep them alive until first hit.

If you have 2K Hydras - Unleashing the Bloodthirsty II
The Conflux must be reached using Summon Boat / Water Walk, which you get by defeating the Castle and then the underground Necromancer.
If you have 2K Hydras, then it must be over month 12, which is getting late. I recommend fighting them by month 9 or 10. Your army will not grow as fast... but it is still possible to defeat them.
Typical troop numbers at end of month 6:
- Dungeon has ~2600 Black Dragons, but is usually split so that the largest army has ~1600 Black Dragons
- Conflux has ~1800 Phoenixes

i've played this map long time, several years ago. As i remember the first part of the map is perfect till reach the middle(behemots) area, but after that the game become easy and repeat the same tactic. But for sure i'll play it again.
The inner difficulty settings and era features(hero,creatu re and spell developing)were awesome in your maps like TEW4 i really enjoyed it. The secondary heroes helping to grow economy is great too.i don't like too much the invanders (like in Alexander), i prefer safe playing and not stressing about that, but it's a personal preference:)
So the TEW4 has a several iteration to become a legend and reach the final form in your last(latest) version.
All in all i miss the end game unique experience in this map, but i have to play it again:)

The main hero has different skills ( pathfinding , fire and air magic replaced with tactics , offence and archery ), which means some strats must be changed
