Classic HotA map with 8 playable starting positions, vast and open areas and many different paths to victory.
Some basic info:
- Fly & DD banned
- Town Portal, Clone and Summon Boat cannot be found in three starting castles
- Some secondary skills were banned (including diplomacy)

I played on 200% - overall I stopped playing at around month 2 week 3, already having overwhelming advantage over AIs. (60+ archangels, 8 cities, TP and many strong heroes). I didn't feel playing ahead made sense as I was stomping everything and everyone already.
Now to some feedback:
- Map is (as usually with this kind of a map) way too easy
- Water is WAAY to rich, like 5x too rich. Maybe consider locking it in smaller zones so players cannot steal from whole map, remove a lot of derrick ships and similar objects etc.
- Zones are too rich, and as soon as you gather enough troops (usually start of week 3) everything is easily cleaned - maybe stronger guards, or less resources per pile etc. Basically map stopped being a challenge from 131 when I got my 1st 5 angels.
- Minor things - teal gateguard troops can be removed (didnt check others)
- Consider moving TP to a very difficult guard / quest and guide towards it maybe?
- Need more bufs on AI
Overall a great map. Would very much enjoy playing as hot seat.

Thanks a lot for your detailed feedback. Its true that its very difficult to properly balance such a huge map where all players can be human + castles are random - in such maps, playing some factions (eg Castle) gives more advantage than playing with some others, so the map becomes less challenging - on the other hand, Im afraid that if I make it too challenging, it may be nearly impossible to be finished by those using eg Fortress.
Anyway, I'm very happy to hear your feedback and will take it into account in the next updates. So far, I just re-uploaded map with very small fixes:
- teal player gateguard bug fixed
- added quest guards next to the all neutral towns - they require to pay some resources to pass. It should slow human player progress down just a bit, and reward/encourage it to explore this map faster.

I agree with the original commenter, great map, actually had a few difficult fights (had to dodge an NPC with 400+ archangels for a couple months.
Once I beat that fight and a few other medium ones I had 2 armies powerful enough to take any fight, at that point the map becomes boring. I checked to make sure there weren't any high end enemies left but didn't take the time to find all the remaining cities to get the win.
Played on blue at 200% rampart, my guards were locked in.
At some point on a map this large you really need to unlock fly/DD behind 500 azure or something so it can't be too early. That way we can cleanup in a few game days once we've 'won' against the most powerful armies.
