I will take in a count your advices.
I made this map 5 years ago, when I was 13 :) and only a few days ago I found this site and the option to upload your own maps here. So I decided to upload here one of my maps(I have many of them :) ) to see what will happen to it.
Now I can do way better maps, but this isn't bad for 13 years old ;), in fact with these changes you recommended this map is very good :) .
I'm working on a new XL map now, for now it looks great and if I have the time and the tolerance for it, this map is going to be a masterpiece :) so if it borns, check it out ;).
Author: MiuMiu (Faraway, Kingdom), 19-03-2009 20:50 The changes At first glance, defeating 1K azure dragons at the cursed grounds with limited scope of development may seem quite a nutty idea, but in the long run the map turned out to be quite easy. By the 10th month, after both battles (500 and 1K azure pack), I lost only 1/4th of my army.
I made some changes to make this map a bit more intereseting and challenging:
a) make town portal spell to be available only at orange's main castle. b) Build all orange's castles up from day 1.
c) Place one-way entrance portal at orange's land and one-way exit at the middle of that central island.
e) Remove castles from the middle island and replace them with 1 defined relic, guarded by a sufficient army.
f) Make a compulsory defeat scenario: fail to succeed in 7 months.
These changes made map, when I replayed it, waaaay harder, but still doable. :)
