you should have almost no losses in all your fights..from what you wrote it sound like you already had some..
you dont need to fight dark demon immediatelly.. there is a secret path behind one of the windmills. there is a lot to explore behind that

I have already found the cloak, but it seems I should pay more attention to the messages that are put in front of me --> Dracon is mentioned + Recanter's cloak is also + favourable winds lead to the armageddon demoniac = you should go there bro xD

You should play on the both human sides.
Playing for red one is testing haven. Playing for blue one is comparing his start town with haven so choose the town you want to compare haven with.
Also:
- computer players in ally should have the same start town.
