I salute to the author and wanna let him know that his(her) work is greatly appreciated. This map has a very sophisticated quest system and the overall tactical design behind it is very elaborate. The landscape design itself is also an object of greatly detailed work and I like it's closeness to original Heroes maps - the layout of adventure objects is logical and the use of landscape objects various a lot. (It's too easy to find here maps that seem either very 'empty' or with very unlike layout of object e.g. five magic shrines next to each other.) In this way this may is on whole another level. I played it with my sister and it brought us lot of enjoyment on the way!
The only thing not properly working out were the computer enemies. The Blue and Purple players remained very passive throughout the play, basically not leaving the underground system at all. That was the only darker spot on overall marvelous experience. I'm myself on my way to finish own XL map soon, I know how great deal of work lies behind it all and wanna let the author know there are players who greatly appreciate your efforts! This map remains an inexhaustible source of inspiration to my own map-making.

If you love xl maps this is a dream come true. Cons are that ai will never defeat you (it's hard to reach you castle), it points out how bad ai it(it develops too slow) and there is no info about which quest removes which part of wall to reach teal.

A challenging map with a good potential for powerplay.Each player begins below the surface without acces to other resources than ore and wood (plus loot) and must work his way to the surface.
The computer opponents have been give a resource boost to make them tougher.
Some story elements will occur within the first 3 months of the game plus a single major quest needed to proceed in the late game.
