Just beat it in singleplayer on heroic, playing orcs.
It is winable even without Markal, but I assume the difficulty of the AI players can vary alot between plays. It all depends on how much the AI concentrates its troops from its many cities into one main army.
While the map itself isn't the most beatiful map out there I really liked how the author tried to build a really challenging map containing big armies.
