By the time you come to final battle you and your ally have already got 7 Castles, and yor enemy still have just 1! It's possible to level up your hero to 40th level. Just build up army strong enough and kill the last orange Mage (sounds easier, then it will be, I know :).
Author: Chris (California, USA), 04-01-2010 00:49 Final Battle is Nuts Nice, well-designed map with a straightforward set of battles against the AI...until you get to the end. Even with the Mask of Equity, I'm not sure how anyone is able to beat the final army (granted, I'm not nearly the strategist that a lot of the more hardcore HOMM players are...) It's almost comic watching as he freezes your army with the custom-scripted spell, then slaughters you.
Author: Conan aka Svyatoslav Shevchuk (Belarus), 29-12-2009 18:49 2 azure (China) You have to swim around the land on the south (it may require defeating of Angels, that are guarding the pass (they're flying over the water, you don't miss them, if only your enemies didn't defeat them earlier). Then swim to the big southern island from south and you will find 2 passes to your enemies. They are guarded, but you are a Hero! Good Luck!

Good advice for players: be careful selling artifacts. Keep the Balance Mask (leveling the basic parameters if you meet a more developed hero) just in any case - it may come VERY useful in the final battle with the Orange Magus. Anyway, he will be much stronger than you, no matter how you tried to develop your hero...
I won this map as a necromancer (Hero level, Lucretia at level 30)

Of course you may use the Orcs, but as leloup already mentioned, the ability to use Town Portal by the Orkish Heroes will be lost for you. Harder to play, but real heroes doesn't look for easy ways :)
Author: leloup (Switzerland), 25-06-2009 19:58 Do not use the orcs! Town portal is forbidden on this map although town-portal scrolls are available. Those who play the orcs will have a difficult time as orc heroes cannot use magic scrolls. Overall a very decent map. Thanks!
