What's the point of smashing hundreds of enemies with even bigger army given at the beginning and farming million artifacts? Some progression and a number of options avaliable would be welcome.

Obtained all power of dragon artifacts and started getting free cyclops by 8th day. Horn of plenty helped along with resourse silos in captured castles. Next time I play this I am going to let 1 faction build up, while I am doing that I will buy heroes in other castles, equip them, upgrade the castles and then let them upgrade by trees on knowledge, then let them fight creature gaurding artifacts then let them attack the remaining enemy. Otherwise it will be a waste to play more than once.

What is the interest of having 2000 marauders and 140 cyclops and a level 40 hero after 1 month ?
The map is rather easy and the opposition too weak.
