Would love to see this map be balanced for difficulty.

Although that will be in a few weeks as I am almost finished with Diplomatic_Mission a Orc map.. that is considerably harder even on Easy.

You got the bug,, It is a Game bug I am afraid, and it is addressed in the map notes. I could not find out how to stop the Objective Failed screen anywhere and I even went through the game code.
Look at it this way, The Objective is Failed if you have not completed it.

Author: Biti (Frankfurt; Germany), 13-09-2011 19:22 Well done Really nice designed map with a bunch of stat-boosts, dwellings and mines to discover, though I must add that this map is way to easy on normal. Maybe on difficult or heroic you may get some real challenges.
I got 7 quests on this map (didn't count the "kill'em all" ), and all worked fine for me. And yes, i also got these "Objective failed" messages every turn without any knock-on effects on finishing the map and all my quests.
Overall a nice map, nice surface and undergroeund, nice story and quests. I'll give it another try on heroic. Thank you for this map, I'm looking forward to your Potain's Legacy 2 :-)

Need a story for the Potain Map.,
leader has watched his whole family die and the leadership of the Kingdom either killed or taken captive,
He must first build the Grail then start another Town in the depths of the earth to build a army to avenge
his kingdom on the Mages.

Ohtar, is imprisioned on the Blood Platau,
Everybody knows Ohtar, as a bad guy. However,
nobody knows what misdeeds Ohtar, has made exactly,
possibly because he never leaves witnesses alive.
Ohtar, says that it is just a slander, but why do Scouts and
Assassins follow him everywhere then?
Raelag. Nothing is known of Raelag’s past, and though he
is direct and ruthless in battle his plans and tactics are
kept as secret as his personal history.
Because Raelag, often out-thinks, outflanks, and outmaneuvers his opponents,
they move with a great deal of hesitation when facing him in battle.
When up against this wily and intimidating warrior,
Raelag's, enemies often find themselves second-guessing their own plans.
Eruina. (" game name = MENEL")
Eruina is a true daughter of the legendary Queen Tuidhana.
Though Eruina herself does not flaunt her prestigious bloodline,
preferring to be judged on her impressive abilities,
the Shadow Witchs and Shadow Matriarchs of Eruina's army support
her attacks with all the fury of true fanatics.
The healers have her and you need to do what they want to heal her up.

Potain has witnessed the almost total Destruction of the Kingdom.
King Vayshan, was killed right in front of him by a mob of 300 Gremlins.
Of the ruling party, Potain, is the only surivor and the whole Kingdom is
looking to you to rebuild the Kingdom to it's Mastery once again!

Lethos, is considered a very useful ally due to his ability to
win a battle before it starts. Though he has served many decades,
his intimate knowledge of the more exotic poisons and diseases
remains undimmed. Enemy troops approaching the field may feel
the effects of Lethos's spells and concoctions even before the
fighting begins, wise enemies have been known to start their
attack by retreating.
