Impossible to evolve even with the advice from Francois. You may get lucky with the "economics grandmaster" heroes, but you cannot earn enough to satisfy the pirates. Maybe one in ten attempts will be successful, but who has the patience? I say let the idiot captured by pirates die, I will not ruin my kingdom for him. And there's always the option of vengeance...

Thanks for taking the time to comment on this map but contrary to what you indicate, not only is this map playable but it is also totally winnable!
Of course, you have to adapt your strategy, as I indicated in response to another comment.
By playing differently than you usually do, you will discover other aspects of this wonderful game that is MMH7. I encourage you to do so. ;)

Thank you for your comment. That said, don't be so assertive. :)
I always test my maps and adjust the difficulty so that everyone can achieve victory.
Then, my brothers test my creations and I modify the scenario according to their comments. ;)
Here are some tips to succeed in this scenario:
1- Try to make your first hero a paragon grandmaster
2- Hire several secondary heroes who are grandmasters in economics
3- First objective: your main hero becomes a paragon master, so he can give XP to your secondary heroes.
4- Increase the economic capacity of your secondary heroes until they are grand masters in economics. Thus, each secondary hero will provide you with at least 450 gold coins + 15% of the income from each castle (and it is cumulative!) In addition, each governor hero will reduce the cost of purchasing new troops by 15%.
5- Attack all neutral buildings that provide gold.
And I can assure you that, even if in the first two weeks you won't have much gold, you will soon be profitable and you will end the game with hundreds of thousands of gold coins... ;)

Warning : This map requires the free Heroes VII.V mod.
Heroes VII.V adds 7 new factions to Heroes VII and dozens of new creatures, new spells, artifacts, dozens of new heroes, new buildings, and more.
It's almost a new game with so many new features, and all for free because it's made by a group of Heroes VII fans.
