Try to do this:
Extract the files with campaigns, they must be with .h5c extension.
Find the folder called UserCampaighns in the game location. If there is no such a folder, create it.
Move extracted files in this folder.
Launch the game.

1. About the stats - part of them are saved after the previous map - there are upper and lower limits.
2. About the siege ring - there is the leader to talk. He stands near the raised city, to the right of the human garrison.
