I don't know - I haven't tested it for HOTA.
Some game parameters (creature stats, secondary skills, spells) are different in HOTA, which might lead to some puzzles becoming unsolvable.
Most puzzles in the beginning are optional, but it would be frustrating to get stuck later in the more...

13k dragons or other stacks are easily killable if one has certain artifacts and spells.
The map is maybe a bit large but offers enough possibilities of exploration for 8 players, sadly, the AI of HOMM55 still lacks faster reasoning and the duel ai is subpar. more...
